The association – Serious Games e.V.

The aim of the association is to ensure the quality of serious games and to promote quality, to award tested serious games with the RAL seal of approval and to provide advice on development.

RAL - Quality mark Serious Games

The association Quality Association Serious Games e.V. has the goal,

  • To ensure the quality of serious games.
  • Serious Games, the quality of which is assured, with the quality mark of the Quality Association.
  • To act as an advisor in the development of serious games.

Memberships

Ordinary membership of the association can be acquired by

  • Any company that creates or publishes serious games or aims to do so,
  • All other players in the serious games market (e.g. service providers, technical experts, universities, associations, foundations) if the association recognizes that they have a legitimate interest in the quality assurance.
  • The annual contribution for ordinary membership is € 1,000.

All players in the Serious Games market who wish to support the Quality Association through donations, services, marketing contributions or similar can become supporting members of the association.
The annual membership fee for companies and institutions is € 500, for personal members (individuals) it is € 200.

All membership fees are exempt from VAT.
