Meister Cody
Meister Cody – Talasia combines an exciting story that develops daily with mathematical exercises that were specially developed by psychologists at the University of Münster to support children with dyscalculia. On their way through the story, the children complete two exercises each day that are tailored to their support needs. These exercises are “magic exercises” in the context of the story, which develop the children’s “magic skills”.
Corrugated
SG4BB Corrugated Service Game
“Corrugated” is a mobile 3D serious game that takes the player into a virtual corrugated cardboard production hall. As an omnipresent character, the players receive an order within various scenarios that describes a disruption in the production process that needs to be rectified. Collect – Identify – Solve: Through this process, the players strengthen their problem-solving skills using common problems that can occur on a corrugator. To do this, players move around a virtual corrugator as part of various tasks and interact with the game by collecting information from people and machine parts in a detective-like manner. Important information can be saved in the service log and used to identify and solve problems. Players can select the problem that is responsible for the fault from a variety of possible options on a machine part and choose a suitable measure for the solution. The serious game can be connected to a learning management system via an interface so that the game can be used as part of training periods. The individual learning progress can be viewed by the learners themselves and the teachers via the learning platform.
Silberne Lebenszeit
The game that inspires you to make your retirement fulfilling by asking cheeky questions.
Which of us is confident that we can start our own company after retirement, help children with their homework or fall off a camel in the Sahara? Whether at the family table, in the clubhouse or at a neighborhood party: Silver Lifetime is an inspiring and entertaining game with 175 funny and surprising questions about ideas and possibilities after retirement. In a game round of 2-8 players, the questions, categorized into adventurous, entrepreneurial, committed, relaxing and active inspiration, are read out loud. Then all players carry out a self-assessment with a secret YES/NO tile and point with their pointer tile to the person to whom they think the question applies best (external assessment). If the assessment is correct (arrow points to YES), an empathy point is collected for the group. After the empathy points have been awarded, the group discusses how the players arrived at their respective assessment, and arrows can also be realigned with input from the other players. Once everyone is happy with their ranking, each player marks as many lines on the activity profile of the active game question as the number of arrows pointing to them. At the end of the game, each player receives an evaluation of their individual activity profile with tips, recommendations and further inspiration. In addition to the 125 inspirational questions, there are also 50 reflection questions. Reflection questions are exclusively a self-assessment. They contain reflective questions about health, sleep, nutrition, fitness, friends, attitude to life and mindfulness (characteristics from the Blue Zones, i.e. regions of the world where people age in above-average health and have a high life expectancy). The aim of the reflection cards is to encourage self-reflection and invite people to share their thoughts, joys, fears and opinions.
