As part of this year’s GameDays in Darmstadt, the RAL Quality Mark for Serious Games was awarded to three more outstanding games on June 14, 2024.

Master Cody: This game, developed by psychologists at the University of Münster, supports children with dyscalculia. In a story that develops daily, the children carry out mathematical exercises that are specifically tailored to their individual support needs. “Master Cody” combines captivating magic with educationally valuable content.

Corrugated: The mobile 3D serious game “Corrugated” transports players into a virtual corrugated cardboard production hall. They have to rectify production faults and strengthen their problem-solving skills in the process. The game can be integrated into learning management systems to support training processes and track progress.

Silver lifetime: This inspiring game is aimed at retired people and uses humorous questions to encourage reflection and the sharing of ideas for an active and fulfilling retirement. It invites players to discover new perspectives and exchange ideas about personal goals and lifestyles.

The awards were presented by the RAL Serious Games Quality Association represented by Prof. Dr. Anna Lisa Martin-Niedecken, PD Dr.-Ing. Stefan Göbel and Giulio Crocco.
